Stressed out people are found to gain more weight around the waist, which is a risk factor for cardiovascular problems. People with low mood can resort to binge eating .Managing the underlying stressors or cause solves the problem .
Back Pain
Chronic lower back pain is common in prolonged stress. It is also common in Depression. In one study it was found that 42% of people with chronic lower back pain got some sort of depression before the start of the pain. Usually people don’t link the back pain with stress or depression which allow them to go unnoticed.
Exploding Emotions
People with burnout can show either little emotions or too much emotions. They can explode suddenly in bouts of anger or crying. They are easily irritable.

The risk of smoking is high in burnout and stress. It can serve as a mood booster. Stressed-out people can smoke more than a pack per day and they tend to smoke within the first 5 minutes of waking up. Although quitting is hard, it is still possible.

People with burnout are usually some sort of hopeless. They neglect their health. They may resort to gambling. They tend to do some risky behaviors like impulsive relationships, reckless driving, ignoring fastening seat belts , skipping brushing the teeth, skipping physical exams , or not tending to chronic conditions they might have.
